In prismatic compass, the graduations are in WCB system, having 0° at south, 90° at west, 180° at

North and 270° at East. And the graduations are engraved inverted. 

Statement III is FALSE: A counterweight (or sliding rider) is attached to the magnetic needle to

counteract magnetic dip (vertical tilt due to Earth's magnetic lines), not magnetic declination.
