The Lasodia movement was initiated by Saint Mavji. He was renowned for his efforts towards
social reform among the Bhil communities of Mewar, Vagad, and the surrounding regions. He
preached to the Bhils, urging them to abandon substance abuse, superstition, and social
evils. He was born in Dungarpur.
