The degree or equivalent qualification must be from a university or institution established by law in India and recognised as equivalent to a full-time Graduation Degree in Engineering by AICTE, New Delhi, wherever applicable.

Final-Year Candidates Eligibility
Candidates who have appeared or are appearing in the final year, final semester or final examination of the prescribed engineering qualification are also eligible to apply for RSEB JE Junior Engineer-I recruitment.
However, such candidates must submit proof of acquiring the required qualification on the date fixed for document verification after the written competitive examination.
The date of declaration of the final result or the issue date of the marksheet will be treated as the date on which the candidate acquired the educational qualification.
Important: If a candidate does not obtain the prescribed qualification on or before the date fixed for document verification, their candidature will be rejected, even if they qualify in the online competitive examination.
