SSC JE Educational Qualification 2026
SSC JE educational qualification varies according to the organisation and post selected by the candidate. Depending on the post, candidates may require a relevant Engineering Diploma, Engineering Degree, or a Diploma with prescribed post-qualification work experience.
Candidates must carefully check the post-wise eligibility conditions before submitting post preferences.
Important SSC JE Eligibility Rules
Final document verification is conducted by the concerned User Department.
The branch or subject selected in the application form cannot be changed later.
The required qualification must be available on or before the cut-off date mentioned in the SSC notification.
Where work experience is mandatory, it must be acquired after completing the required educational qualification.
iInternship, training or research experience completed during the course of study is not counted as required work experience.
Engineering qualifications through Open and Distance Learning or online mode are not accepted unless specifically recognised under applicable rules.
