AsCu is special preservative developed by forest research Institute, Dehradun.
It's composition is as below
• 1 part by weight of hydrated arsenic part oxide (As2O5.2H2O)
• 3 parts by weight of blue vitriol or copper sulphate (CuSO4.5H2O)
• 4 parts by weight of potassium dichromatic (K2Cr2O7) or sodium dichromate (Na2Cr2O7.2H2O).
