A.

4 degree eastward

B.

8 degree eastward

C.

4 degree westward

D.

4 degree southward

Answer ( Option C)

4 degree westward

Solution

Given:

Magnetic Bearing = N81°E

True Bearing = N77°E

As we know that,

True Bearing = Magnetic Bearing + Magnetic Declination

So, 77° = 81° + Magnetic Declination

∴ Magnetic Declination = –4° or 4°W
