Clause 35.3.2

  The surface width of the cracks should not, in general, exceed 0.3 mm in members, where cracking is not harmful and does not have any serious adverse effects upon the durability of structure, i.e., not for particularly aggressive

environment, such as the 'severe' category, the surface width of cracks should not, in general, exceed 0.1 mm. 

  Cl 26.5.1.3 - side face reinforcement: where depth of the web in a beam exceeds 750 mm side face reinforcement

is provided. 

              The total area of such reinforcement shall not be less than 0.1% of the web area and distributed equally on two faces.

  Cl 26.3.3 slabs-

The horizontal distance between parallel main reinforcement bars shall not be more 3d or 300 mm whichever is smaller.
