Given :          

 Power (P) = 22.5kW

Velocity (v) = 880m/min = 880/60 m/sec

For a belt drive the transmitted power is calculated as

P = (T1-T2)v

Where,  

T= Tension in tight side 

T= Tension in slack side

v  = Velocity of the belt

Putting the above values 

       

Hence, the correct option is (C)
