Pressure head decreases from 1 to 2

Solution

A1 = V1
∴  A1 > A2
V1 < V2
from Bernoullis equation
(neglecting energy losses)
As both points lie at same datum
Z1 = Z2
∴  V1 < V2 and P1 > P2
From above result we can say that pressure head decreases from 1 to 2.
