• In the resource levelling process activities are rescheduled such that maximum demand of resources

  requirement does not exceed the limit of availability of resources. 

• During this process at first re-arrangement of activities having floats is done. Even if by doing so, resource

  requirement is more than availability of resources, then duration of some activities is increased such that

  resource requirement of these activities is reduced. Hence project duration might get increased during the

  process of resource levelling.
