Skin effect
High frequency also gives high inductive reactance which causes the current to flow outer surface of conductor is known as the skin effect, which is simply a consequence of self inductance.
This effect, which oppose the flow of current is most pronounced along the center-line of a conductor and is caused by proximity to adjacent current flow.
