●Both evaporator and condenser pressures should be positive. If the pressure is lower than atmosphere, there is possibility of leakage of air, the presence of non- condensable gas in side system causes drastic decrease in capacity of refrigeration system.

Lower evaporating temperature/pressure reduces COP of the system. Therefore, it can be concluded that lower suction pressure/temperature is not desirable for the refrigeration system.
