●The conductor temperature must not exceed 85⁰ C for oil - filled and gas - pressure cable. For other cable - the specified temperature vary from 50⁰ C to 75⁰ C.

●The DC resistance at the maximum temperature may about 20% more than that at 20⁰ C  .

Maximum stressed up to 13 kV/mm are acceptable 275 kV and 400 kV oil filled cables. The current carrying capacity of oil filled cables is determined by allowing a normal maximum conductor temperature  at 85⁰ C atmospheric gas pressure.
