• Silica(SiO2) (17 – 25%) impart strength
• Alumina(Al2O3) (3 – 8%) impart quick setting property.
• Calcium sulphate (CaSO4) (3 – 4%) as a gypsum increases setting time of cement
• Oxides of Iron(Fe2O3) (3 – 4%) Impart colour, hardness, & strength
