Revolving Door:
* Provided in public buildings where there are constant visitors.
* These doors are suitable for air conditioning buildings.
* Such doors provide entrance and exit together.

 

Sliding Door:
* In these doors shutters slide on the sides with the help of guide rails and runners.
* The door may have two, or three sliding shutter or more depending upon the size of opening place available.

 

Louvered Door:
* Louvered door provide free ventilation through them and at the same time they provide privacy in room.
* These doors are generally used in bathrooms.
* Doors may be lowered to full height or partially.

 

Glazed or Sash Door:
* These doors can be used in residential as well as public building.
* Doors may be fully glazed or partially glazed and partially 
panelled.
* Ratio of glazed portion and panel portion is 2:1.

 

Frame and Panel:
* Almost used in all type of buildings.
* Consist of frame work of vertical members called styles and 
horizontal members called rails.
* Panel are made from timber, plywood and block board. 

 

Collapsible Door:
* These are used as main entrance doors of the residential buildings, shops, godowns etc.
* These doors are either single or double shutters, depending on the size of opening. Does not require hinges for hanging the shutters for closing.
* Occupies less space and seeing through the door is possible even if the door is close.
