1. Compressive strength of brick: It depends upon compostion of clay and burning. According to I.S. Code compressive
strength of brick should not be less than 35 kg/cm².
2. Modulus of rupture or flexural strength: Brick should have ability to resist bending.
3. Fire resistance: A good brick should be able to withtstand temperature up to 1500°F or 816°C.Preparing students for success in a changing World.
